French life insurance companies are very........>

OAT
OAT: French life insurance companies are very large holders of French debt in
the longer end of the yield curve.
- French Federation Francaise de l'Assurance data showed that French Life
insurance companies collected E1.8bln of net inflows in October.
- Over the first ten months of the year, insurance companies have collected
E109.1bln but paid out E101.9bln in terms of benefits, leaving a net inflow of
E7.2bln.
- In terms of general themes, net inflows were very healthy in the first 8
months of 2016 but have been virtually zero until July of this year.
- Of the total E7.2bln of net inflows in 2017, E5.7bln has flowed in from July
to October. There is definitely more life (excuse the pun) in this product
lately and is modestly supportive for OATs.
