French Refinery Runs To Be Reduced In April Amid Ramp Up After Strikes

French oil refineries will operate below capacity in April as plants take time to return to normal capacity after strikes according to FGE.

  • FGE estimates refinery runs to be reduced by 375kbpd in April.
  • TotalEnergies’ Feyzin refinery 29kbpd FCC and 5kbpd alkylation unit were shut which will keep runs at the plant at a minimum.
  • Total’s Gonfreville and Ineos’s Lavera refineries are expected to take to least two weeks to return to normal output.
  • Earlier, Energy Aspects said it estimated French refinery capacity, which has been affected by strikes, to return to normal capacity by May.
