US TSY/RECAP
US TSY/RECAP: Friday provided a relatively quiet end to a hectic week, with Tsy
futures mildly higher by the closing bell, seeing a late rebound as equities
resumed their slide
- There was little in terms of fresh developments re: Chinese trade tariffs on
Friday.
- Steepener interest was noted in the futures space. Friday's flow was generally
two-way, fast & real money account buying was noted in the shorter end, prop
accounts were seen to be selling 5s, with light deal-tied selling also noted.
- This week is light on major US economic data with focus likely to fall on
Thursday's Feb spending/income data. Fedspeak from Dudley, Quarles, Bostic,
Mester & Harker will also be eyed as well as US Tsy supply.
- T-notes last 120.21+, US 10-Year yields last 2.814%.
