FSB Claims 'Ukrainian Shell Destroyed Border Post In Rostov'

Russia's FSB security services have claimed that a Ukrainian shell has destroyed a border post in the Rosotv oblast with no casulaties according to Russian state-owned outlets.

• There are no confirmations that the shell was fired by Ukrainian forces, or even that it took place.
• This story, as with a number of others in the past hours and days have been highlighted by Western officials as attempts by Russia to create a narrative of aggressive actions by Ukrainian forces that could be used as a pretext for a Russian military incursion into Ukraine.
• As such, with tensions still at fever pitch, headlines and stories of this nature are likely to come out with some regularity in the coming hours and/or days until either an incursion is made, or tensions begin to subside.
