US TSYS/STOCKS: FTN Financial's Jim Vogel said on N.Korea/geopolitics and
markets interaction,  that "after two years of various emergencies, 'market
learning' has determined not to overreact to geopolitical events. That intuition
remains ingrained in this month's chapter in the North Korea saga, and someone
in authority saying things are better will send Treasury yields up almost
immediately."
- But he adds that "an 'all-clear,' however, may not reverse the minor damage
done so far to stock momentum." He adds that "'market learning' is just like
'machine learning' where computers teach themselves complex tasks via constant
repetition, correcting their algorithms as they go on immediate feedback."
