Futures Paring Overnight Gains, Cash Marginally Richer

JGBS

JGB futures moved away from their overnight levels during the Tokyo morning, in sympathy with the late NY pullback in U.S. Tsys, with the contract closing 5 ticks above yesterday's settlement levels. Cash JGBs sit marginally richer on the day, but the moves are relatively trivial, with the majority of the benchmark yields finishing the morning session less than 1.0bp shy of yesterday's closing levels. There has been little in the way of notable domestic news flow, with BoJ Governor Kuroda offering little new in his latest parliamentary address.
