Gazprom: Turbine Delivery From Canada Not In Line With Contract

According to Reuters, Vitaly Markelov, the senior manager of Russia's state owned gas company Gazprom has said that the deliver of a the Nord Stream 1 gas turbine from Canada to Germany after maintenance was not in line with the agreed contract.

  • Gazprom: "The supply of a turbine for Nord Stream from Canada to Germany does not comply with the terms of the contract. To date, the holding does not have a complete package of documents allowing the transportation and repair of engines for Nord Stream."
  • CGTN: "Gazprom says it did not give permission for a gas turbine from Nord Stream pipeline to be sent to Germany instead of Russia."
