German Crude Imports Increase in April

German imports of crude increased to 7.5m tons in April from 7.09m tons in March according to federal data. Imports from UK and US increased while Russia decreased.

  • Breakdown of imports by country compared with March:
    • Russia 2.1m tons in April, down from 2.6m tons in March
    • UK 835k tons, up from 727k tons
    • Kazakhstan 720k tons, down from 843k tons
    • US 746k tons, up from 626k tons
    • Other 3.1m tons, up from 2.3m tons
