BUNDS: German FI contracts have stuck to a tight range overnight. Schatz unch.,
Bobls +1.0 tick, Bunds -2 ticks.
- Strong domestic industrial production data pressured Bunds in early trade,
before broader risk-off, trade war related flows supported the space, even as
the latest OBL auction showed a softer cover ratio than the previous auction,
before the bid faded as European equities pared their losses, with White House
Press Sec Sanders noting that the U.S. has received an indication that China
wants to come to a trade deal.
- Addresses from ECB's Hakkarainen & Lane headline the regional docket today,
with the latest round of U.S.-China trade talks providing the global headline
risk.
