NATURAL GAS

The latest weekly data shows overall German gas consumption was down 37.4% in week 51 (Dec 19-25) from the previous week and 23.8% below the 2018 to 2021 average according to THE data via Bundesnetzagentur.

  • German industrial gas consumption was 31.1% below the 2018-2021 normal and household and businesses 16.6% below normal. The gas consumption for power generation is included in the industrial demand data.
