German Regulator Unclear on Nord Stream Flows

The German energy regulator is unclear on what volumes will be sent through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline after its 10-day maintenance which began today ends

  • "As expected, Nord Stream 1 is at zero since this morning," Klaus Mueller, head of energy regulator Bundesnetzagentur said.
  • "What happens at the end of the maintenance, nobody is able to say at this moment. We won't know any time sooner than a day before its scheduled end." he said.
  • "The scenario is such that we would have too little gas and what we need is proposals where we can save gas." he added.
