Germany's First LNG Cargo Underway

Germany’s first LNG shipment is currently bound for the country according to ICIS vessel tracking.

  • The FSRU Hoegh Esperanza was loaded in Spain and should reach Wilhelmshaven around December 10.
  • Germany is financing the charters of five FSRUs. These include the two units RWE chartered from Hoegh LNG, the two Dynagas units chartered to Uniper, and Excelerate’s FSRU chartered by Engie, TES, and E.ON.
