  • The DMO will return to the market this morning with GBP4.0bln of the short 3-year 3.75% Mar-27 gilt on offer.
  • This will be the seventh auction of the gilt which was launched in January (and with all auctions ranging from GBP3.75-4.00bln). Tails for reopenings have ranged from 0.3-0.6bp (0.3bp last) with bid-to-covers all in excess of 3x (ranging from 3.01-3.68bp).
  • The auction may be vulnerable to changing budget / issuance expectations given the proximity of the Budget next week.
  • Timing: Results will be available shortly after the auction window closes at 10:00BST with a further GBP1.0bln available to successful bidders via the PAOF.
