GILT SUMMARY
GILT SUMMARY: - Gilts have rallied since 1030BST with the longer-end
outperforming slightly. 
- The 2-year benchmark yield trades at 0.712% down from a morning high of 0.734%
while the 10-year trades at 1.391% down from 1.416%.
- The curve is slightly flatter with the 2s10s spread narrowing to 67.0bps from
67.8bps and 2s30s trading down to 124.3bps from 125.4bps.
- The Dec gilt future trades at 122.98 at the highs of the day.
- The 5-year inflation breakeven has inched up to 3.142% from a morning low of
3.133% while the 10-year trades in line with the open.
- Cable trades at 1.2803 and has held within a relatively tight range this
morning.
- The short sterling futures strip is broadly 1.0-2.0 ticks lower.
- The public sector net borrowing requirement came in above expectations for
October at Stg.8.0bln vs Stg. 5.6bln survey.
