lacked direction.
- Key levels: 2-year 0.738%, 5-year 1.057%, 10-year 1.450%, 30-year 1.787%.
- The curve is relatively flat with 2s10s trading at 70.6bps and the 2s30s
ticking up to 104.2bps from 103.3bps.
- Short sterling futures are flat in the middle of the strip. Whites are flat to
1.0 ticks lower.
- Following yesterday's conflicting signals from EU chief Brexit negotiator
Michel Barnier and the UK's Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab, the news flow today
has been light. 
- The GfK consumer confidence print for August was a touch better than expected
at -7 vs -10 survey, while the Nationwide House Price index dropped -0.5% M/M vs
0.15 survey.
