Global Gas Markets Extend Decline

NATURAL GAS

Global gas prices continue to fall with TTF now back to levels seen before the announcement of the current Nord Stream outage. Prices have fallen 36% since the spike up to 336€/MWh on Aug 26.

  • Nord Stream flows appear to be coming back online at 20% capacity with nominations of 31.9mcm/d from 02:00 CET tomorrow morning.
  • JKM price are following European markets lower with front month back down to 54$/mmbtu. The JKM spread to TTF is around -9.5$/mmbtu.
    • TTF OCT 22 down -8.6% at 222.03€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 22 down -7.8% at 224€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 23 down -5% at 176€/MWh
    • NBP OCT 22 down -10.7% at 432p/th
    • JKM Oct 22 down -7.1% at 54.11$/mmbtu
    • US Natgas OCT 22 down -0.8% at 9.19$/mmbtu
