LNG

Global LNG imports will increase 5% m/m to 32m tons in October as the heating season starts in the Northern Hemisphere according to Bloomberg forecasts.

  • LNG supply is expected to be 33.1m tons in October boosted by higher exports from Prelude FLNG in Australia and Coral South FLNG in Mozambique.
  • LNG imports into Europe are expected to rise with netbacks still favouring Europe. Higher imports are expected for Japan and South Korea from heating demand and restocking supplies while China’s LNG demand is expected to remain stable.
