SPAIN: Gov't has approved a minimum basic income scheme, which intends to
provide between E.462-1,105 per month to around 850,000 struggling households.
- Minority gov't of PM Pedro Sanchez's Socialists and Deputy PM Pablo Iglesias'
far-left Unidos Podemos has pushed the measure through using its emergency
powers given by parliament due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
