Greene comments not market moving

  • Greene has shown a few extra new charts (and talked more about the EZ, US, China and South Africa too).
  • Her comments on the UK so far have not really pointed to any change in her view (and hence haven't been really notable for markets).
  • She showed a chart of the output subindex of the UK PMI and said that there were some reasons to be optimistic about future growth. And she showed a chart with the decomposition of headline CPI - and noted that services inflation has been holding up more than the other components but is starting to ease. Her comments on wages are all in line with those she has made recently.
