- A total of 420mbbls of open Jul23 Brent options positions are currently due to expire on Thursday 25 May. Current open interest is 252k for calls contracts and 168k for puts.
- The aggregate open interest across all ICE Brent options is 1.673m calls and 1.154m puts contracts.
- The biggest nearby strike of interest is above the current market with 18k calls and 12.5k of puts at the 80$/bbl strike. Open put contracts totalling 13k currently sit below the current market price at 75$/bbl.
