Ineos Lavera Refinery To Restart This Week

Workers at Ineos’ Lavera refinery will end strike action this week after refinery workers had a vote on Friday on whether to extend current strike action according to union officials.

  • Most of the units at PetroIneos oil refinery in southern France are set to restart after a change to the strike action. The timeline for the restart has not been disclosed yet.
  • Workers were scheduled to vote whether or not to extend strike action at the site. Multiple units at the Lavera refinery shut down on 25 March amid strike action.
  • Separately, workers at Total’s Donges refinery renewed strike action until 7 April according to CGT union official.
