US DATA: Initial unemployment claims data were below estimates in the 
Feb 17 wk, -7k to 222k vs 230k expected. 
- The 4-wk moving avg -2,250 to 226,000. The index could decline further 
next week as the 230k level in Jan 27 wk rolls out. 
- Unadjusted claims -19,477 to 213,328 in the current wk, a larger 
decline than seasonal factors had expected, and below the year ago level 
of 239,322.
- Claims were estimated in California, Hawaii, Maine, Puerto Rico, 
Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming. And, they had still not returned 
to normal in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
- Continuing claims -73k to 1.875m in the Feb 10 wk.
