Iran Further Denies Any Interim Nuclear Deal With US

Iran reiterated that it is not in talks with the US over an interim nuclear deal that would see it receive sanctions relief.

  • “We confirm no such thing as negotiations for an interim agreement or new arrangements to replace the nuclear deal,” foreign ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said at a conference today.
  • Oil prices slumped last Thursday on reports of a deal by the Middle East Eye that Washington and Tehran were near a deal which would see Iran export crude volumes. The US has also denied the reports.
