MARKET TALK: It feels like an Asia-Pac session that is happy to just go through
the motions for now, with little in the way of news flow out there since the
electronic re-open.
- Still, risk appetite has recovered, with e-minis back in the green, while the
USD & JPY now sit at the bottom of the G10 FX pile.
- Gold has pushed through some initial technical resistance levels, even as
equity markets trickle higher, to sit at a multi-week peak. Gold bulls now look
to key resistance at $1,765.4/oz (the cycle high) in spot trade.
