JAO June Czech-German, German-France, France-Italy to Start 14-16 May

The cross-border capacity auctions for delivery in June on the Joint Allocation Office (JAO) platform on Czech-German, German-France, France-Italy, will start between 14-16 May, although the offered capacity has yet to be released.

  • Czech-German ( TenneT, 50Hz ) auction will begin on 15-16 May, with the auction ending on 17-21 May.
  • German-France will begin on 14 May, with the auction ending on 16 May.
  • France-Italy will also begin on 14 May, with the auction ending on 16 May.
  • German-France M1 spread is at a €21.64/MWh surplus at the time of writing, although down from its high of €46.34/MWh on 16 April.
  • France-Italy spread is at €45.39/MWh discount at the time of writing, although up from its low also on 16 April at -€68.26/MWh.
  • Czech-German M1 spread was at just a €0.75/MWh surplus on 10 May as the Czech M1 contract has not traded at the time of writing.
