JGBS: JGB futures ticked higher in Monday's morning session, and consolidated
their modest gains in afternoon dealing, although truth be told activity was
limited.
- The cash curve saw a modest degree of outperformance in the longer end, which
benefitted from month end extension plays.
- There is a lack of longer dated supply this week, with the 2-Year JGB auction
dominating the issuance docket. As such, focus is set to fall on the BOJ's
Rinban operations.
- Today will bring an enhanced liquidity auction for JGBs with 15.5-39 Years
until maturity.
