US: Just ahead of the Wall Street opening bell, the USD index remains close to
the lowest levels of the session so far but is yet to revisit the Monday lows
(printed at 96.964) as markets appear to take profit on yesterday's volume-less
rally.
Equity futures in the US are largely mixed despite the acutely poor performance
Monday. Apple shares remain weak, pointing to another lower open to the tune of
1.2% or so. This is all helping supress US yields shortly following the first
opening for cash trade this week, with 10y yields below 3.16% at writing.
