FED: Just to make aware, Fed's George (voter, hawk) is currently speaking at the

opening reception and dinner of the Jackson Hole Symposium, as is the norm.

- We haven't seen anything hit the wires as of yet, and we may not see anything

from this address at all.

- As a reminder, she spoke earlier on Thursday and was unsurprisingly wary of

easing of MonPol: "As I look at where the economy is, it's not yet time, I'm not

ready, to provide more accommodation to the economy without seeing an outlook

that suggests the economy is getting weaker," George told Bloomberg

Television..." Easing policy is not a free choice," George said. "It, remember,

pulls forward demand. It can make leverage more attractive. And I think,

depending on where you think you are in the business cycle, it can create more

risk."

- The latter part (re downside to easing policy) sounds a lot like recent

comments from Boston's Rosengren, her fellow dissenter at the July meeting.
