Kazakh Crude/Cond Production Rises to 1.78mn bpd September

Kazakhstan’s crude and condensate production rose in September to around 1.78mn bpd from around 1.66mn bpd in August after Tengiz maintenance work was completed according to Bloomberg.

  • September’s production pace is the highest since June. Peak production was in February 2020 at 1.91mn bpd.
  • Excluding condensate production, Kazakhstan’s September crude production is estimated at 1.53mn bpd, 20k bpd below its reduced OPEC+ target.
