OIL

Kazakhstan is ready to increase crude volumes to France according to its President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev this week.

  • “Such priorities include the energy sector. Kazakhstan is one of the principal suppliers of crude oil to the French market, and our country stands ready to increase the export volume," Tokayev said in a statement with French President Emmanuel Macros in Astana this week.
  • Kazakhstan has increased oil supplies to Germany this year as the country looks for a suitable oil replacement for Russian flows.
