Kazakhstan to Send 125,000 Tonnes of Oil Via BTC Pipeline April

Kazakhstan will supply 125,000 tonnes of oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan or BTC pipeline in April, according to Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin.

  • "The oil transportation via the BTC began in March. The first two tankers have already departed carrying 20,000 tonnes. The supply estimates for April stand at 125,000 tonnes," Zhumangarin.
  • Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan earlier reached an agreement to transport 1.5 million tonnes of oil in 2023 through the BTC pipeline he said.
