Kermlin Says US Behind British Destroyer Provocations, Vows Harsh Response to Further Acts

    • "I think our intelligence certainly knows who made a decision there. I think such operations are basically planned by senior partners from overseas as a tool of provocation."
    • Says Russia will "respond harshly" to similar provocations
  • Peskov says US anti-Russian rhetoric does not allow for good relations to be built.
    • Said while the Geneva talks were mostly constructive he said this is not enough to change the real situation immediately
  • Russian aircraft carried out training flights over the Black Sea in conjunction with the Black Sea Fleet amid NATO's Sea Breeze exercises over the weekend.
    • Missile & bomb attacks on vessels were practiced by Russian forces. NATO's Sea Breeze exercises (largest in 20 years) will continue until 10 July
