Kremlin: 'Don't Like Other Countries Telling Us What To Do' On Navalny

Kremlin spokesman giving comments on a number of issues to reporters.

  • Says that 'We don't like when other countries tell us what to do' when asked about the alleged poisoning of Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny. Says that Russia is continuing to look into the case, and additional requests may be sent to Germany (where Navalny is receiving medical treatment). Says that there are no plans for a call between President Vladimir Putin and Chancellor Angela Merkel on the issue.
  • Says that the meeting between Putin and embattled Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on September 14 is 'of a working nature' and that there are no plans for any signings of bilateral pacts or treaties.
  • Following claims overnight from Microsoft that it had stopped hacks on both the Republican and Democratic presidential campaigns in the US from Russian (as well as Chinese and Iranian) sources, the Kremlin stated that never has and is not now meddling in any country's election.
