  • President Vladimir Putin is in Minsk for talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Putin's first visit to the country since 2019.
  • RIA: Kremlin-Reports that Putin traveled to Minsk to convince Belarus to join Russia's covert campaign in Ukraine are untrue.
  • Interfax citing the Russian defence ministry stating that Russian troops stationed in Belarus are to 'conduct tactical exercises'. Comes as Belarusian gov't announced last week that readiness level of troop units in the country's south near the Ukrainian border would be placed on higher alert, and troops would engage in readiness exercises.
