Kuwait Oil Exports Fall 13% March

Kuwait’s observed crude exports dropped to the smallest in more than two years in March according to Bloomberg – even prior to Opec+’s surprise cut announcement.

  • Flows from Kuwait fell 13% to about 1.75m b/d in March from a revised 2.01m in February.
  • It is the lowest monthly pace since January 2021.
  • Kuwait said it would voluntarily reduce output by 128k b/d from May until the end of the year which will add further pressure on its exports.
