Investment-grade corporate credit risk held broadly lower levels Monday, near session lows in late trade w/ stocks posting strong gains.

  • Investment grade risk measured by Markit's CDXIG5 index is currently -4.580 at 99.483 vs 102.339 session high; CDXHY5 high yield index at 97.359 (+1.06).
  • Outperforming credit sectors (tighter or least wide): Energy (-2.4), Communications (-2.0) and Industrials (-1.9) outperformed.
  • Lagging sectors (wider or least narrow): Sr Financials (+0.4), Subordinated Financials (-0.1) and Materials (-0.9).
