Libya’s Oil Exports in April Surge to 18-Month High

Libya’s observed crude and condensate exports rose in April to its highest level since October 2022, according to Bloomberg tanker tracking.

  • April flows were up 17% on the month to 1.15m b/d.
  • Es Sider shipments were up to 313.3k b/d, compared to 264.5k b/d in March.
  • Italy remained the leading destination, although flows were down 23.2% on the month to 365k b/d.
  • Shipments to Greece rose almost tenfold in April compared to March levels.
  • Flows to Sweden also reached a 10-year high of 74k b/d.
