LNG Volumes on Water for at Least 20 Days up 6.4% on Week


The estimated quantity of LNG cargoes on the water for at least 20 days rose by 6.4% to 3.06 million mt in the week to July 30, according to Bloomberg.

  • This is the highest floating volume since May.
  • This follows falls in the JKM September futures, assessed at $10.9/MMBtu July 31.
  • European gas storage levels are currently standing at 85.4% as of July 30, compared to 68.93 for the same period last year. This is likely easing LNG spot demand in Europe.
