SOUTH AFRICA
  • Eskom load shedding has been up-rated to stage 4 until further notice as of this morning, with five generators at five power plants all being knocked offline. The utility is expected to release further details later today, but some element of load-shedding is expected to persist well into Wednesday.

  • Later today, SARB governor Kganyago is due to be in conversation with eNCA, although not set time has been provided. No tier one data releases due Tuesday, with focus on tomorrow’s September CPI.
