CABLE
CABLE: Lots of head scratching going RE GBP move. GBP/USD appeared to accelerate
the move on the break through historical highs initially on the back of a weaker
post-data dollar.
-No headlines or newsflow to drive the move, although some eyeing local election
results (both major parties lost a substantial number of seats) as a catalyst
for ministers to get their act together and resolve Brexit.
- Volumes in futures markets looking pretty decent, peaking at 1607BST, just
after the WMR fix.
- Next resistance levels kick in at the 1.3184 Fib retracement and the Apr3 high
at 1.3196.
