Low Supplies Maintain TTF Rally

European gas strength continues with ongoing low pipeline supplies from Russia, a slight reduction in Norwegian supply and after hot weather has added extra unwanted demand.

  • TTF SEP 22 up 2.3% at 231€/MWh
  • Russian flows from Nord Stream are still running on just one out of five turbines resulting in 20% of flow capacity. Nominations today show flows at 31.9mcm/d. Gas transit via Ukraine is steady at 42.1mcm/d.
  • Norwegian supply is about 13mcm/d below start of the month levels due to planned capacity reduction at both Troll and Kollsnes. Nominations are today at 320.6mcm/d.
  • European storage continues to fill at a marginally higher rate to normal with stocks now up to 75.55% full. Germany is at 77.79%, Italy at 78.19%, France at 87.02 and Netherlands at 71.06%.
