Macron Retains Lead Over Le Pen, Pecresse In 2nd Round Polling

Latest presidential election opinion polling from OpinionWay/Kea shows incumbent President Emmanuel Macron retaining his lead over both right-wing Rassemblement National leader Marine Le Pen and centre-right Les Republicains candidate Valerie Pecresse in hypothetical second round run-off polls.

  • Macron: 54% (+2):, Pecresse: 46% (-2). Fieldwork: 7-10 Jan, 1.644 respondents. Chgs w/ 4-7 Jan.
  • Macron: 57% (=), Le Pen: 43% (=). Fieldwork: 7-10 Jan, 1.644 respondents. Chgs w/ 4-7 Jan.
In polling for the first round, taking place 10 April, Macron holds onto first place and is seen as all-but-guaranteed to make the run off. The contest for second place and the other spot in the run-off is razor-thin, with Le Pen and Pecresse battling for the final berth:
