Malaysia's Anwar To Unveil Cabinet Line-Up Shortly

Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim confirmed that he will unveil the Cabinet line-up this evening following his audiences with Malaysia's Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Perak's Sultan this morning. The announcement is expected shortly.

• Sources told the Star that the announcement will only involve partial Cabinet line-up as some negotiations are still ongoing.
• Anwar told reporters that the focus of his government will be to strengthen and develop the economy.
• "We need to strengthen the ringgit. When the ringgit is strengthened the import cost will be less and when it happens, the cost of goods and food will also be less."
• Anwar is currently visiting his home constituency of Tambun for the first time since being appointed Prime Minister nine days ago.
