Manufacturing PMI Unchanged at 53.8 in November

  • S&P Global’s Manufacturing PMI for Russia was unchanged at 53.8 in November (Est: 54.0). This marks the 19th consecutive month of expansion. New Orders fell to 57.1 versus 57.5 in October.
  • The Finance Ministry will allocate RUB1.7trln for the repayment of the state debt in 2023, RUB200bln more than initially estimated, Izvestia report.
  • Washington is aiming to halve Russia’s oil and gas revenues by the end of this decade, a senior US diplomat told the FT, arguing western sanctions on Moscow will need to be maintained “for years to come”.
