MNI BRIEF: Bank of Korea Keeps Policy Rate At 3.5% - Press

(MNI) TOKYO

The Bank of Korea on Thursday decided to keep its policy interest rate unchanged at 3.50% amid growing concern over a weaker economy despite inflation remaining at high levels, Wowkorea reported.

The decision was widely expected as the country is suffering from weaker exports on the back of slowing overseas economies.

The next meeting is scheduled on April 13.
