MNI BRIEF: BOJ JGB Buying Frequency and Scale Unchanged In Q4

(MNI) TOKYO

The Bank of Japan said on Friday it had left the frequency of its Q4 purchases of Japanese government bond buying operation and the scale per operation of each maturity bucket unchanged from the previous quarter.

The decisions reflect the high uncertainty over global economy and inflation rates around the globe prompted the BOJ to keep the guideline for JGB operations to ensure the flexibility of bond buying.
