MNI BRIEF: China To Further Cut Negative Investment List

BEIJING (MNI)

China will further shrink its negative list for foreign investment and push ahead with bilateral and multilateral free trade negotiations, said Commerce Minister Wang Shouwen at a meeting with the American Chamber of Commerce in China on Friday.

According to the statement, which was published on the ministry's website Monday, Wang praised AmCham's clear opposition to the "overall decoupling" of the U.S. and China economies and said he hoped that American entrepreneurs would help promote economic and trade relations between the two countries.
