MNI BRIEF: Japan's February Factory Output Lifted By Autos

Japan's industrial output rose 0.1% m/m in February as automobile production rebounded following a big drop in January, preliminary data released on Thursday by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry showed.

Based on its survey of manufacturers, METI projected that industrial production would rise 3.6% m/m in March. METI left its assessment unchanged as industrial production showed signs of recovering.
