MNI BRIEF: Japan's February Jobless Rate Falls To 2.7%

TOKYO (MNI)

Japan's average unemployment rate stood at a seasonally-adjusted 2.7% in February, down from 2.8% in January, data released from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications on Tuesday showed.

The data continued to show that the labor market continues to be protected by the government’s Employment Adjustment Subsidy, keeping the unemployment rate at low levels.
