Japan's services producer price index rose 0.9% y/y in September, marking the seventh straight rise but slowing from +1.0% in August, data released by the Bank of Japan Tuesday showed.
The data continued to show that higher international commodity prices haven't been fully transferred to service prices. Price for ocean freight transportation (except Ocean tankers) rose 34.9% in September international air freight transportation rose 28.5%. But hotel prices fell 8.4% in September and employment services fell 0.7%.
